A Family History
Back in 1958, when California was covered in orange groves and eucalyptus trees, our founder, Herb Olson, had a vision for a service company.
Fast forward more than 60 years, and the bugman is still a locally-owned and family-operated pest control business providing exceptional service to our community. Meet the group of people that make the wheels of the bugman bus go 'round, day after day. We are as dedicated to one another just as much as we are dedicated to our customers!
Jim Taraba
Systems Operations Manager
Team Member since 2017
As the Systems Operations Manager, Jim manages the efforts of the Service Center team. This includes process and procedure improvements, team member development and coaching, inbound and outbound calls, scheduling of inspections and work orders, route optimization, and so much more! Jim appreciates the teamwork among various departments at the bugman to accomplish the same goals and objectives.
Oliver Reyno
Service Center Operations Manger
Team Member since 2021
Oliver joined the bugman in 2021 and works with a great team of leading experts in the pest/termite control industry. His favorite thing about working at the bugman is the company culture and how the team members work cohesively as a team. Something you probably wouldn’t know about Oliver is that he has run 52 miles in 12 hours and 5 minutes, and has completed 28 full marathons!
Lauren Flike
Service Center Floor Manager
Lauren is the Service Center Floor Manager here at the bugman! Her favorite part of the job is the emphasis the bugman puts on prioritizing their team members and customers. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time on the river, off-roading in the desert, and spending time with her family. Lauren also loves to volunteer and even travels to different sites to aid in disaster relief. Some of her most notable trips included Hurricane Katrina assistance, Joplin's tornado relief, building homes in Mexico, and running food drives in Kentucky!
Lori Britain
Service Center Supervisor
Team Member since 2016
Lori has almost 30 years of experience working in the industry and joined the bugman family in 2016. As a Service Center Supervisor, she enjoys working with both clients and coworkers and helping others around her.
John Sharp
Quality Assurance Service Manager
Team Member since 1998
Born and raised in California, John started working in the industry in 1998 when he joined the bugman team. He enjoys working at the bugman because they are family-oriented and everyone works together to help out and reach a common goal.
James Fowler
Technology and Innovation Manager
Team Member since 2015
James was born and raised in Corona and now resides in Perris. He began working at the bugman in 2015 and his favorite part about working here is being around the positive attitudes of all his coworkers. An interesting fact about James: he built his own home network and a custom water cooled computer! Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family and working on building computers.
